I'm a social media consultant who helps people, companies and not for profits build passionate communities online. After becoming a successful podcaster to promote my business as an independent marketing spokesperson (Diary of a Shameless Self-Promoter podcast, http://heidimiller.libsyn.com), I turned her focus fully to social media and became a full-blown evangelist. For the past three years, I have acted as a community manager for online communities, both for not-for-profits and for corporations.
