Licensing Music
Dec 17, 2008 - 12:55pm

This is an interesting post, since I am in the music business (plug - www.henrystonemusic.com). Generally, when we license our tracks, we go through normal channels, BMI, Harry Fox, regular licensing requests, and stuff like that. I have never heard of Creative Commons and will have to check them out. I know that clearing licenses can often be a chore, especially when multiple people or companies have an interest in an item to be licensed. It does seem like technology should be able to streamline that process.
